Are You Being The Best You?

Continually Train Yourself...

We are 3 weeks into the new year and most of us have set goals that we want to accomplish. The issue is never setting the goals, the issue is executing and staying consistent with your actions toward the goals. There are 3 things we can train in life:

  1. Your Craft
  2. Your Body
  3. Your Mind

Digest that for a moment…. When you set a goal which of the 3 are you working on? Do you have a goal for each of them? The most fulfilled people set goals for each of these and continue to work on all 3. If you are not growing in some way in one of these 3 you are usually going backwards and life if gaining momentum over you.

If you are not growing, you are dying and that’s a fact. You are in charge of your thoughts, your words, and your actions. Make no mistake, there is no one to blame about anything going on to you because you are in charge of you. Make the decision to live a life with meaning and purpose, while striving to be your best. This requires continual training on your craft, your body, and your mind.

Action Items

  • Write down what you are doing this year (now) to improve:
    • Your Craft
    • Your Body
    • Your Mind
  • If you are not doing something to improve all three. Make a plan to do something by 1/31.
